Hello, I’m Burgandy.

I lead with curiosity—always asking questions to better understand your needs and get to the root cause of the issue bringing you in. My goal is to help you return to what you love, whether that means getting back to your sport, returning to work comfortably, or simply letting go of the everyday stress that weighs you down.

Using all the tools and techniques at my disposal, I customize every session to help your body find relief, balance, and renewal.

Enhancements and Specialized Tools

Muscle Flossing

Muscle Flossing uses specialized 2-inch latex or natural rubber bands to support the lymphatic and cardiovascular systems while promoting faster healing. The bands are wrapped snugly around targeted areas to gently restrict circulation for a short time.

This technique—often called “pin and lengthen”—creates a controlled compression that helps the body flood the area with fresh, oxygen-rich blood once the bands are released. It also encourages the lymphatic system to clear excess fluid trapped between muscles, helping reduce tightness, improve mobility, and release tension more deeply than manual pressure alone.

Muscle Scraping

Muscle Scraping, also known as Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), uses specialized tools to break down adhesions, release muscle tension, and stimulate blood flow. This technique helps improve mobility, reduce pain, and support faster recovery.

We offer Hot Scraping, Cold Scraping, and Traditional Scraping options depending on your body’s needs:

  • Hot Scraping warms the muscles, increasing circulation and softening tight tissue.

  • Cold Scraping helps calm inflammation, reduce soreness, and aid in recovery.

  • Traditional Scraping provides balanced pressure to relieve tension and restore natural movement.

Each method is customized to your comfort level and therapeutic goals, enhancing overall results and leaving your muscles feeling refreshed and renewed.

Massage Gun Therapy uses handheld percussion tools to deliver rapid, rhythmic pressure that helps release deep muscle tension, improve circulation, and enhance recovery. We use both a rapid oscillating massage gun for precise, high-frequency work and a traditional massage gun for broader, deeper muscle relief.

These tools are excellent for breaking up tight fascia, reducing soreness, and increasing flexibility—making them ideal for clients with chronic tension, sports recovery needs, or deeply knotted muscles. Each session is customized to your comfort level to ensure therapeutic results without overstimulation.

Massage Gun

Hot rocks

Hot Stone Massage is a deeply relaxing and therapeutic treatment that uses smooth, heated basalt stones to warm and loosen tight muscles, improve circulation, and calm the nervous system.

The heat from the stones penetrates deep into the muscles, allowing for more effective tension release with less pressure. The therapist may place stones on key points of the body and use them to massage, melt away knots, and ease stiffness.

This technique not only helps relieve muscle pain, stress, and chronic tension, but also promotes a profound sense of balance and well-being.

Hot towle’s

Hot towels are used to soften muscles, open pores, and increase circulation, helping the body relax and release tension more effectively. The soothing heat warms the tissues and prepares them for deeper work, allowing massage techniques to be more comfortable and effective.

They also help stimulate the lymphatic system, support detoxification, and bring a calming, spa-like experience to any treatment.

Whether used to start the session, melt away muscle tension mid-massage, or wipe away oils at the end, hot towels leave the body feeling refreshed, renewed, and deeply relaxed.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy enhances your massage experience through the use of pure essential oils that support both body and mind. Each blend is carefully selected to promote relaxation, stress relief, and emotional balance while helping the body release tension naturally.

The gentle scent of essential oils works with the nervous system to calm the mind, uplift mood, and encourage deeper breathing, creating a holistic sense of well-being.

Whether you need grounding, energy, or tranquility, aromatherapy transforms your massage into a truly sensory and therapeutic experience.

 FAQs

  • It’s completely normal to experience some muscle soreness for up to 3 days after your session. This may feel similar to the soreness you get after a good workout at the gym — a sign that your body is responding and healing.

If the soreness lasts longer than the 3 days or feels too intense, let me know. We can adjust the pressure and go a bit lighter in your next session to keep your body comfortable while still making progress.

  • Working on the body can have powerful effects. During your session, we’re helping move fluids and release built-up tension from the muscles, which can sometimes temporarily overload the lymphatic system.

To support your body’s natural recovery, it’s important to drink plenty of water after your massage and do some gentle movement — such as light stretching or walking — to help flush the lymphatic system.

If you notice that you feel overly tired or sore after a session, please mention it at your next visit. We can adjust the pressure or shorten the session time to ensure your body isn’t overwhelmed while still receiving the benefits of the work.

  • Prenatal massage is an amazing experience that offers comfort and relief during pregnancy. It helps ease muscle tension, reduce swelling, and support relaxation for both body and mind.

However, for the safety of both mother and baby, we cannot provide prenatal massage during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. After that, sessions can be tailored to your specific needs and comfort.

During pregnancy, the feet and legs often become sore, but we avoid working deeply below the knees or on specific pressure points that can help induce labor.

Every pregnancy is unique, and so is every prenatal massage. Each session is customized to support your body as it changes and to provide safe, nurturing care throughout your pregnancy journey.

  • What is TMJ Release?

TMJ Dysfunction (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder) occurs when the jaw joint isn’t sitting or moving properly, which can lead to pain, clicking, headaches, and tension in the face, neck, and shoulders.

During a TMJ session, we use gloved, intraoral techniques to release the muscles inside the mouth that contribute to tightness and misalignment. The session often ends with gentle work around the jaw and palate to help the joint settle into a more balanced position.

TMJ issues can be caused by poor posture, stress, teeth clenching or grinding, or habits like chewing on hard objects such as ice or pens.

Regular TMJ massage can help reduce pain, improve jaw mobility, and relieve tension throughout the head and neck area.

  • We use silicone massage cups, which are designed for gliding and movement across the skin.
Cupping can be thought of as a reversed deep tissue massage — instead of pushing down into the muscles, we gently pull the tissues upward. This creates space within the layers of muscle and fascia, helping to decompress tissues, clear congestion, and promote natural healing.

Normal side effects can include mild petechiae (small red dots) or bruising. Each body reacts differently, so results and markings can vary. Because cupping can leave visible marks, we recommend avoiding this treatment if you have important events or photos coming up.

⚠️ Cupping is not recommended for individuals who are immunocompromised, as it can be too stimulating for the body.

  • Muscle Scraping, also known as Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), is a therapeutic technique that helps break up adhesions and restructure collagen fibers to create smoother, healthier tissue. This method allows us to reach deeper layers of fascia, improving mobility, flexibility, and overall muscle function.

Muscle scraping promotes better circulation and recovery by helping the body naturally repair soft tissue. It’s especially beneficial for clients dealing with chronic tightness, scar tissue, or limited range of motion.

Normal side effects can include temporary soreness or bruising for a few days after treatment — this is part of the body’s natural healing response.

💧 Hydration and gentle movement after your session are very important to help flush out metabolic waste and support recovery.

  • Your comfort is always our top priority, and we understand that every client has different preferences when it comes to clothing during a massage.

Some clients choose to be fully nude, while others prefer to keep on undergarments or partial clothing. In accordance with state regulations, you will always be professionally draped with sheets to ensure your privacy and comfort at all times. If at any point you feel exposed or uncomfortable, please let us know immediately so we can adjust the draping for you.

If you choose to remain fully clothed, please keep in mind that this can limit the depth and range of the work we’re able to perform, especially for longer or more detailed sessions.

For sports or injury-focused massage, we recommend wearing:

    • Men: Basketball or running shorts

    • Women: Running shorts and a sports bra or tank top that can be easily adjusted for access to treatment areas

Our goal is to help you feel safe, respected, and relaxed so you can get the most benefit from your session.
